Potato Casserole with Chicken Fillet
Ingredients:
0.5 kg potatoes
0.5 kg chicken fillet
200 g mayonnaise
2 tbsp vegetable oil
200 g sour cream
100 g hard cheese
1 egg
Dill, to taste
1 tbsp More Specij Potato Seasoning
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, egg, potato seasoning, and finely chopped dill. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Cut the chicken fillet into small bite-sized pieces. Toss the chicken with some seasoning and the vegetable oil until evenly coated. Spread the chicken in a single, even layer on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Peel and slice the potatoes into thin, round slices. Layer the potato slices evenly over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Preheat the oven to 180-200°C. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 40-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
- About 10 minutes before the casserole is finished baking, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top. Continue baking until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
