Korean Carrot Salad (No Vinegar)
Ingredients:
500 g carrots
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp vegetable oil
10 g More Specij Korean Carrot Seasoning
2 cloves garlic
1 apple
Instructions:
- Peel and grate the carrots using a special grater for Korean carrots, which will create long, thin strips.
- Sprinkle the grated carrots with salt and let them sit for 15-20 minutes. This allows the carrots to release their natural juice.
- Add the minced garlic, diced apple, Korean carrot seasoning, and vegetable oil to the salted carrots. Stir everything well to combine.
- Allow the salad to rest and absorb the flavours for 1-1.5 hours before serving.
- This Korean carrot salad can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days for best flavour.
