Korean Carrot Salad (No Vinegar)

Ingredients:
500 g carrots
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp vegetable oil
10 g More Specij Korean Carrot Seasoning
2 cloves garlic
1 apple

Instructions:

  1. Peel and grate the carrots using a special grater for Korean carrots, which will create long, thin strips.
  2. Sprinkle the grated carrots with salt and let them sit for 15-20 minutes. This allows the carrots to release their natural juice.
  3. Add the minced garlic, diced apple, Korean carrot seasoning, and vegetable oil to the salted carrots. Stir everything well to combine.
  4. Allow the salad to rest and absorb the flavours for 1-1.5 hours before serving.
  5. This Korean carrot salad can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days for best flavour.
