Pork in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:
1 kg pork
1 tbsp More Specij Fried Meat Seasoning
4 bell peppers (yellow, red, green)
2 onions
100 g mushrooms
50 g tinned pineapples
50 ml vegetable oil
10 ml vinegar
50 ml soy sauce
100 g ketchup
50 g sugar
20 g flour

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar until the sauce is smooth and evenly mixed.
  2. Slice the bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms into thin slices. Chop the tinned pineapples into small pieces.
  3. Roll the pork strips in flour to lightly coat them. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry the pork for about 5 minutes until it turns golden brown.
  4. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the pork. Continue frying for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the pork and vegetables. Add the pineapple pieces and seasoning. Mix everything thoroughly and simmer for an additional 3 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld together.
  6. Serve the pork in sweet and sour sauce hot with boiled rice.
