Baked Pork with Honey and Mustard Glaze
Ingredients:
1–1.5 kg pork neck
30 ml olive oil
Salt, to taste
3 tbsp More Specij Meat Seasoning with Chilli and Cinnamon
80 g honey
80 g mustard
50 ml soy sauce
Instructions:
- Shape the pork neck by tying it with kitchen twine to maintain its form. Rub the pork with half the olive oil and season with salt. Mix the meat seasoning and spread it on a flat surface. Roll the pork in the seasoning until evenly coated. Place the pork in an ovenproof dish and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C. Bake the pork for 1–1.5 hours, until the meat is cooked through and tender.
- While the pork is baking, mix the honey and mustard together in a bowl until smooth. Add the soy sauce and whisk the mixture until well combined.
- Once the pork is done baking, remove it from the oven and carefully cut off the twine. Increase the oven temperature to 180°C. Pour the honey-mustard glaze over the pork, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- Return the glazed pork to the oven and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until the glaze is sticky and caramelised.
